The modern age is called the age of science.A modern man can't live his day-to-day life without the help of science.Various things of scientific inventions are used in every day life of a modern man.
From morning till night we have to use various things invented by science. As for example, early in the morning, after getting up from bed we usually take the tooth brush and the paste to clean our teeth. Then we go to the water tap. We always listen to the radio or peep at the television to know about the current events going on in earth.
We read the newspapers,magazines and books for learning. We use various vehicles to reach our destination in a short time.
We also use the cooking utensils to prepare our food.all these things mentioned above are the gifts of science. We can't do without using these things in these modern days. In the evening we get light simply by pressing the switches. Fans are by electric current we every day use a wrist watch or a wall clock yo do the works on time.
Verious vehicles are used to shorten the time and distance. We can go to an distance place by a motor car,motor bus,train or by an aeroplane in a short time. The scientific inventions have helped the modern men in their prosperity.
Now-a-days it's almost impossible to think of living without the help of science.
So,to speak the truth, we are now living amidst the scientific inventions that are being use in our everyday life.
It is fortunate enough that the science is being used for the benefit and prosperity of the human race till this day. But science has also discovered some deadly weapons that can destroy the whole world within a few minutes .
The weapons like atom bomb are some of dreadful weapons the atom bomb use at the time of the second world war causing damage to Nagasaki and Hiroshima of Japan was also a marvel of science.
Even to this day the bad effect of the destructive weapons is still going on. So,let not these dreadful weapons be use in harmful purposes considering the future of the human race
Science is a boon to the human race till when it is not used in destructive purposes.Let science be used forever for the betterment and prosperity of the mankind.
THE BIHU FESTIVAL OF ASSAM
The bihu is the national festival of Assam. We the Assamese people three bihus in a Assam.
1/ The Bohag bihu
2/The Kati bihu
3/The Magh bihu
The Mach bihu is observed on the last day of the month of pooh Everywhere in Assam, specially in the villages, the Young boys build mezi ghar before the bihu.
The previous day of the Mach bihu is called Uruka.The young boys arrange feast in the mezi ghar at that night and spend the night there. Early in the morning they take bath and put fire to the mezi ghar. The old The old village people also join in burning mezi ghar and discuss various problems of the village In every house rich and poor, there is an arrangement of various food including cakes,milk and any other. After burning the mezi ghar people return home and take cakes pies,and diferent items of food as arranged.the Mach bihu canes immediately after the harvesting. So.there is at least some amount of food stuffs in every house to prepare various food as to there liking. This bihu is,therefore,, called the bhogali bihu.
The bohag bihu comes on the last day of the month of chair and is observed for the following seven days. The spring season occurs during this period. Nature wears lovely dress of green leaves and flowers of various colours. The food stuffs in house do not run short. It presents a pleasant moment. So everybody enjoys this period of the year the young boys and girl's during this bihu use to sing bihu songs to express cheerfulness. The women and girl's offer'Gamuchas' to the elders as well as to the youngers to show their respect and love. They weave these Gamuchas themselves in the month of chait.The cows are taken for bath to the nearest river, pool or lake on the first day of this bihu. In the evening cows are presented new tethers for bihu. The next day is the Bibi for men on which Gamuchas are presented. This bihu also called Rongali bihu as it is observed cheerfully and pleasurably.
The Kati bihu falls on the last day of the month of Ahin.people face lot of troubles of living during this part of the year. So there is no cheerfulness during this bihu. In the paddy field earthen open lamps are lighted so as to welcome the goddess Lakhimi.Black basil plants are planted on the day of this bihu. There is no abundance of food and cheerfulness in this bihu. So this bihu is called the Kangali bihu.
We should always try to keep the culture alive.

Reading of newspaper is a good habit. One can learn about the current events of the world simply by reading the newspapers.
We always wait very eagerly for the newspapers. There are some people who can't take their breakfast without going through the daily newspaper.
Newspapers not only help in receiving the news from different parts of the world. It also helps in gathering public opinion,spreading ones views in any matter. People of a country can be notified on any matter through a newspaper .thus newspaper is very useful to us.Of caurse,it has some bad effects also. Sometimes false news are spread through newspapers.but it is very negligible considering it's good effect s .Newspaper originated in the city of vehicle in Europe as early as in 1536.Nowadays a lot of newspapers are published everywhere. In our state, we have'The Assam Tribune',The north East Times, The natun Dainik,The Satdin,The Assam bani,The Agradoot,The Pratidin etc.
We should from the habit of reading the newspaper daily to know the current events. Let newspapers be used for the well being of the people. The authority of the newspapers should try to inform the people only the correct news.No false news should be published.

My Daily Life
The way or manner how I spend the day from morning till night is the daily life. Every man spend his daily life by doing some works. I also spend my day doing some work. The way of spending my daily life is very simpleAs a student, my primary duty is to study. Usually I have no other hard work to do.I get up from bed at 5 O'Clock in the morning. I wash my hands and face after getting up from bed. Then I take a morning walk for half an hour. Returning from morning walk I take my breakfast and sit at my reading table.At about 8 O'Clock I take my bath,and I take my meal at 8.30 and get ready for school
Usually I go to school on foot. Our school begins at 9-30 a.m and I reach school just at 9-20 a.m. I remain in my class till 3-00 p.m.At school I hear attentively to what my teachers say.
After school I come home direct. I take my meal and then play for an hour with my brother's and sisters. I wash my hands and feet just before sun set. Then I take a rest for an hour. At 6-00p.m.I sit at my reading table. I do my home works and prepare my lessons for the next day. I take my supper at 9-30 and after a rest of 15 minutes I go to my bed. etc.(Write more about yourself).
